Behind the Song: Cicadas—Drakeford

Hey guys! If you were a part of Housemoot 2024, you may remember seeing a video of us singing our song "Cicada" in a beautiful old church in England. At the time of the video, we had just finished writing it, and some of you reached out to let us know how much it meant to you, which really encouraged us. Well, we just released the song at the beginning of May, and we wanted to let you know more of the backstory and where it came from. As you'll hear in the video above, it's a song that really means a lot to us, and so we're excited to share it with you. You can find the link to listen to the song at the bottom of this page!
